Hanging with the winter hound. He's been eating snow like crazy, (at least it's the fresh stuff). He just loves winter (me, not so much)!! His energy level just explodes when he's outside on a winter's day. This old dog starts jumping around like he's a young pup again. Have to say, if it weren't for him I'd probably stay inside and hold up in my art studio for four months of the year lol. Do you like winter? Today is #SendACardToAFriendDay Do you remember the last time you got a card in the mail? How did it make you feel? Back in the day people sent cards to loved ones all the time . Cards filled with updates and news, or just to let someone know that you were thinking of them. Social media does that now, but gone is the charm and excitement of getting something in the mail that you can physically hold and display in your home. Bring back the tradition by sending your best wishes to someone special written inside a beautiful card that they can display or even frame as a remembrance. Winter at the lake here in Port Stanley. Lots of people come to the beach in the summer, but in the off season the moods of the lake are generally only witness by the locals. As an artist I love the ever changing views and expressions of mother nature as seen in this body of water. What place or site do you find yourself constantly taking photos of? Today kicks off February, as #NationalEmbroideryMonth. I'm not a stitcher myself as every time I try, it turns to a bunch of knots.
